So. Isn’t life grand? I’ve just realized, a few months after getting my new computer, (laptop), after my old one died a gasping, wheezing death, that some of my “external devices” will not plug in to any of the outlets no matter how hard I try to shove or finagle them in.
I’m mainly talking about my digital camera. I cannot plug in my digital camera to my new laptop because there is no connection outlet that matches. Isn’t that special. I can take photos until the cows come home since I purchased a card with way more space not a year ago but I cannot share those photos with anyone. Anywhere. At all. I’m really impressed with myself. I’m sure somewhere along the way, there was an option for me to include this sort of outlet on my new laptop as I built it on the Dell website but I was too caught up in all the other stuff I could have. (Like, the color pink.)
I have been wanting to take more photos along the way in life and while my camera is decent, it’s not the best. It’s a few years old, (four), and I know the technology has greatly improved so I guess it may be time to purchase a new camera. (Preferably one with a fucking USB port connection since there shouldn’t be any issues with that no matter what kind of computer I have access to.)
Sooo, kidlets, while I have a general idea of what I would like, I’d really like to hear from you if you have any knowledge or have a camera that you think is a gift from heaven itself so that I may make an informed and wise decision.
Keep in mind these things:
Connection type to computer from camera.
I’m not rich.
Nothing bulky.
Prefer ability to use telephoto lens and not fuck up the pixel quality when I load photo to computer.
I’m not rich.
If it’s available in pink, purple or blue, all the better.
I’m not rich.
I’m not too fond of HP brands for personal reasons I will not get in to here. Well, maybe I will but not now.
Really, I’m not rich.
If it’s something I can add lenses on to later, tell me all about it.
And finally, keep in mind, I’m not rich.
Kids, you have your assignment. Please don’t let this be one of those blog posts you all ignore. It benefits you, as well.
