Hard Work Is Not Always A Good Thing

Did I ever tell you the story of a girl who, while in the Army, had just completed a cycle of 14 hour shifts for 28 straight days and upon returning to the barracks, decided that she simply had to have a hard boiled egg so she went to the Dayroom and put the egg, shell and all, into the microwave, totally not thinking clearly because she was physically and mentally exhausted and so approximately 30 seconds later, the egg exploded with a force so large that it not only blew the microwave door open, splattering cooked egg bits all over the walls of the Dayroom but it blew out all the power to the entire barracks and that the only reason she escaped injury is because 10 seconds earlier she had gotten up from her watch directly in front of the microwave to answer the phone out in the hallway?

I haven’t?  Oh...well, nevermind then.  I have absolutely no idea whatsoever who that girl was anyway.
