I'm Not Just Talking To Hear Myself Talk
How many times have I written on this site that we are living the story “Atlas Shrugged”? How many times? Why does no one listen to me? Look, kids, you want to know what’s going on? Come here, first. Because, see, I’ve been saying this for some time now and NOW, apparently, some in the media are picking up on the same conclusion:

Many of us who know Rand’s work have noticed that with each passing week, and with each successive bailout plan and economic-stimulus scheme out of Washington, our current politicians are committing the very acts of economic lunacy that “Atlas Shrugged” parodied in 1957, when this 1,000-page novel was first published and became an instant hit.

Yes, Mr. Moore, I agree with you completely. However, I think it started long before. I’ve been paying attention to the build up of this and lo and behold, here we are. Check the archives, kids. It’s in there.
Look, I loved that book. Absolutely LOVED that book. Many people told me it was too long, too dry, took too many pages to explain things but I could not get enough of it. It IS long. So what. It’s soooo good! And once you’ve read it, you’ll see people acting just as ridiculous as the characters in the book. But, as I’ve been saying, for some time now, we’ve done BEEN in this story. It didn’t just start with the bail outs, this has been coming.
I warned you. How many paid attention? See? I’m not just for entertainment purposes alone. Sometimes I am annoyed beyond all belief because I can’t believe so many others DON’T see it coming. Some of you did. I remember some readers commented about it. So I know I’m not alone in these observations but good GOD almighty! How fucking blind are we?
That’s it, kids. From now on? You want to know what’s going to happen? You come to me. I’ll tell you. I don’t beat around the bush and play all nicey nice, being all tactful and shit. I’ll tell you when society is acting like a dumb ass and about to really screw themselves over. Hey, I tell you all the time when I’m being an idiot, why can’t I point that out when others do it as well?
Now, if you have not read this book, get your ass to the bookstore right now and get that book. You will see things in a different light after reading it. So many behaviors you see in others will start to make sense. Because people, as a general rule, are MORONS.
When you’re done with that book, go read “The Fountainhead” after. Not as good as Atlas Shrugged but still damn good. Author: Ayn Rand.
