It's A Living
Over the course of the four years I’ve been here, I’ve received several emails from people, some I knew, some I didn’t know, who advised me that I should get paid to write. In fact, I once put a personal ad up on a website just to see who I might meet and was told the same from a random stranger.
So, I started looking around for places that would do just that...pay me to write. Some of them are easy to understand but some of them are very confusing.
Back in August I found and signed up for Pay Per Post. The point of doing this is to drive traffic to the specific website being talked about in each entry. Pay Per Post has a wide variety of sites and topics to choose from that makes it much easier to pick and choose which ones you will talk about and have maybe even had experience with. Frankly, I’d prefer to add a personal story to my posts for the sites I’m writing about rather than sounding like a late night infomercial.
The best things about Pay Per Post are, again, the variety of topics to choose from as well as the length of time opportunities are posted. Some pay sites only offer a very small number of opportunities and they usually appear one at a time. They get snatched up quickly leaving you constantly waiting for more.
Pay Per Post also has an area at the bottom of its main page on login that shows top earners for the day, month and all time. Seeing some of those dollar amounts is a real motivator to start writing and building up your “tacks”. As you progress and do well, you earn ratings from the advertisers who are paying for you to write about their inventory or product. You can rank all the way up to 5 tacks, (comparable to 5 stars), and earn more and more money. Some people are doing so well that they are earning about half of what I make in a month just by writing posts.
You can easily make your car payment, insurance payment, satellite t.v. and internet payments, buy food, get the cat a new toy, have your car professionally cleaned, purchase gas....all of that with the earnings you can make each month from Pay Per Post. Hey, if you’re really good, you may even find that you can pay your rent. Or, if you like, start investing it like I plan on doing after I reach two major goals. It’s not going to make you a millionaire but it will definitely make life a whole heck of a lot easier if you work at it and write well. Who doesn’t want their life to be a little easier, financially?
Not only can you make a bit of cash on the side, you have the ability to meet other people. You can submit a profile on the site that allows others to get to know you as well as visit the Pay Per Post community in order to meet other “posties”. If you have questions or need assistance or just want to meet people, the forums are where you get started.
Pay Per Post has made their site very easy to use, understand, navigate and is quite friendly. Heck, they even call their customer support center the Customer Love Team.
If you are a blogger and want to make some extra cash on the side, consider signing up for Pay Per Post. It’s pretty near the easiest, friendliest and most respectable way to make money that I’ve seen in quite some time...all from the comfort of your own home.
At Pay Per Post, I get to pick and choose the topics I’ll write about without any pressure, I get to sit home in my pajamas, it gets my creative wheels turning and I’m not stifled by word limits. That is like paradise to someone like me. I’m not in it just to make money, I also like to tell stories and often times when I sign up for a post, the topic brings back a memory. Plus, I just really like to give my opinion on things. Why do you think I have a blog in the first place?
