[This is the entry I had all ready the other day and I’ve decided to just go ahead and post it.]
I care about the environment. I care about animal welfare. Unfortunately there are many organizations who claim to also care about these things yet their agenda is not that they care to protect the environment or care that animals be treated humanely, their agenda is to rid the world of people even if it means lying about environmental or animal issues. They want to take away every single one of our luxuries, turn us into a communist country and then kill us all off. And they have found just the people to push their agenda on to the public. Leftists. [Please note I did not say “all” organizations....there are organizations out there who are doing the right thing for the right reasons. These are just some of the bigger, squeakier wheels who get the oil.]
This is why any time anyone makes a claim about the environment, conservatives close their ears and minds and refuse to listen. This is why any time anyone tries to provide evidence in regards to animal welfare, conservatives close their ears and minds and refuse to listen. These so called, “caring” people, the organizations for animal rights and environmental causes, are not in it for the land or animals. They are in it because they hate human beings and want them all to die...except the ones they hand pick themselves to stay around.
I know what I’m up against when I talk about animal welfare and environmental issues. I’m not stupid. So what I’m trying to do today is show you that just because I say I care about the environment and care about animal welfare, to lump me into the same category as these people is judgemental, unfair and frankly, closed minded and disgusting. I had a big issue with some people in my recent past because they were extremist right wingers and rather than respecting my views about the environment or animal welfare, they thought it was funny to talk about the destruction of the environment and animals...most especially endangered species just to piss off the “envirowheenies”. You see, as far as I’m concerned, those types of people are just as fucking disgusting as the people below. Anyone who uses an animal or the enivronment, on either side, either way, for their own political gain, is a sick fucking person who has serious issues. I don’t give a shit how popular the person is. This mindset is bordering lunacy just as it is with those on the extreme left who buy into the crap written below. They’re both fucking insane.
“Christianity is our foe. If Animal Rights is to succeed, we must destroy the Judeo-Christian religious tradition. Peter Singer, the father of Animal Rights [The Deweese Report, November 1998]
"Torturing a human being is almost always wrong, but it is not absolutely wrong." --Peter Singer, as quoted in Josephine Donovan, “Animal Rights and Feminist Theory,” Signs: Journal of Women in Culture and Society, Winter 1990, p. 357.
"We are not especially ‘interested in’ animals. Neither of us had ever been inordinately fond of dogs, cats, or horses in the way that many people are. We didn’t ‘love’ animals." --Peter Singer, Animal Liberation: A New Ethic for Our Treatment of Animals, 2nd ed. (New York Review of Books, 1990), Preface, p. ii.
“I suspect that eradicating smallpox was wrong. It played an important part in balancing ecosystems. John Davis, editor of the Earth First Journal (Before anyone gets all uppity, I know of a few conservatives who believe this as well.)
“People are the case of all the problems, we have too many of them; we need to get rid of some of them, and this (ban of DDT) is as good a way as any. Charles Wurster of the Environmental Defense Fund
“As radical environmentalists, we can see AIDS not as a problem, but as a necessary solution. Miss Ann Thropy (pseudonym), Earth First Journal (Again, I know many conservatives who take this approach as well.)
“If I were reincarnated, I would wish to be returned to Earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels. Prince Phillip, World Wildlife Fund
"Human happiness, and certainly human fecundity, is not as important as a wild and healthy planets...Some of us can only hope for the right virus to come along."—David Graber, biologist, National Park Service
"To feed a starving child is to exacerbate the world population problem."—Lamont Cole
“Every child who believes in God is mentally ill. Dr. Paul Brandwein, a leading child psychologist.
"We, in the green movement, aspire to a cultural model in which killing a forest will be considered more contemptible and more criminal than the sale of 6-year-old children to Asian brothels."—Carl Amery
“We must make this an insecure and inhospitable place for capitalists and their projects…We must reclaim the roads and plowed land, halt dam construction, tear down existing dams, free shackled rivers and return to wilderness millions of tens of millions of acres of presently settled land. David Foreman, “Earth First
“I suspect that the politicians and businessmen who are jumping on the environmental bandwagon don’t have the slightest idea of what they are getting into. They are talking about emission control devices on automobiles, while we are talking about bans on automobiles. Dennis Hayes, Earth Day Agenda
“…The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States. We can’t let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization, we have in the US. We have to stop these Third World countries right where they are. And it is important to the rest of the world to make sure that they don’t suffer economically by virtue of our stopping them. Michael Oppenheimer, Environmental Defense Fund (Is this why the Left was so against the war in Iraq?)
“Communism is the goal. Roger Baldwin, founder of the ACLU.
“The American Civil Liberties Union is closely affiliated with the communist movement in the United States. And fully ninety percent of its efforts are on behalf of the communists. From a special HCLU investigation of the ACLU in 1931.
“Your grandchildren will live under communism…Oh you Americans! You’re so gullible! We’ll spoon-feed you socialism until you’re communists and don’t even know it. We’ll never have to fire a shot! Nikita Khrushchev in the 1950s speaking to the US Secretary of Agriculture
“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened. Norma Thomas, US Socialist Presidential candidate in the 1960s
“The message has now gone out to all leftists; ‘substitute green for red’—that is, push socialism labeled as environmentalism as the new priority. David Horowitz and Peter Collier in “The Destructive Generation
"Activists, radicals, peace campaigners, green party members: as far as the leaders of the GRU are concerned, these are like ripe water-melons, green on the outside, but red on the inside—and mouth-watering. So there is a good base for recruiting. Viktor Survorov, Soviet GRU defector in his book, “Spetsnaz
“The secret to David McTaggart’s success is the secret to Greenpeace’s success: It doesn’t matter what is true…it only matters what people believe is true…You are what the media defines you to be. Greenpeace became a myth, and a myth-generating machine. Paul Watson, co-founder of Greenpeace.
“The New York Times is deliberately pitched to the liberal point of view. Herman Dismore, foreign editor of the New York Times from 1950 to 1960
“The news media in general are liberals. Barbara Walters
“News reporters are certainly liberal and left of center. Walter Cronkite
"If you haven’t given voluntary human extinction much thought before, the idea of a world with no people in it may seem strange. But, if you give it a chance, I think you might agree that the extinction of Homo sapiens would mean survival for millions, if not billions, of Earth-dwelling species ... Phasing out the human race will solve every problem on earth, social and environmental." --"Les U. Knight” (pseudonum), “Voluntary Human Extinction,” Wild Earth, Vol. 1, No. 2, (Summer 1991), p. 72.
So yes, I acknowledge that there are idiots who call themselves animal rights activists and environmentalists but just as with anything, to dismiss an entire idea based on a FEW is stupid.
