MSM Diet

Too much of something is never good for you, especially when it’s bad for you.  SO.  I’m going to totally steal this guy’s questions and pose them here.  I will also give you my answers.

From Dad Gone Mad:  Taking Stock

1. There’s something you’ve always dreamed of doing, but you haven’t done it because you think you lack the time, money, or support to do so. What is that something? And what are the REAL roadblocks keeping you from it?

2. Name something you would eat more of if health, cost, allergy, and caloric intake were of no concern.

3. What is the one singer/band, book/author, painting/painter or author artist/work of art that “speaks to you” most? Why?

4. If your country’s government handed you a check for $10 billion and empowered you use that money to support a single program, cause, or organization, where would you send it?

5. What really, genuinely pisses you off?

6. Describe your current level of happiness and contentment in your life. Are you living the life you imagined for yourself when you were younger?

My answers are as follows:

1) I’d like to own a large plot of land so that I can begin my own animal rescue. What stands in my way is actually money.

2) Well, I’m going to cheat and add to your list of non concerns: “or if you actually enjoyed the taste of it”. I would eat more fish/seafood. The reason is because I HATE fish/seafood--believe me, I’ve tried many because everyone says, “you haven’t tried this”. I wish I liked fish/seafood because some of those Red Lobster commercials actually look good.

3) This would be a toss up between Jack London and Stephen King. Not that they make any political statements I agree with or have any worldly causes I know about but simply because the way they write speaks to me and helps me view the world in a different, more open way. Sounds weird but they do.

4) I would use the 10 billion to help abused and homeless animals and for public education about animals.

5) One thing? How about: lazy, rude, selfish, inconsiderate, mean spirited people.

6) Am I living the life I thought when I was younger? No because I was a dreamer when I was younger. My ultimate goal when I was a little kid was to meet every single person on the face of the earth and make them laugh so that we would all get along. I also thought I’d be a millionaire by the time I was 25 and be married. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Ah well. My current state of happiness is actually pretty good. Overall I’m pretty happy. I can see, hear, walk, talk...I’m breathing and alive. Considering that was almost taken away from me in 1999, I’d say I’m doing rather well.

Kids, let’s take a breather from all the negativity.  Besides, when is the last time any of you spent ANY time thinking of yourself instead of someone else, first?
