Ocean Life

Day one and I LOVE this job.  Eventually I’m hoping to cross train with the biologists, among the many other plans I have for this job, but I know, I know...one step at a time.

Anyhoo, I learned a TON today and to help me remember everything, I’m going to link to particular fish or marine mammals every so often and kind of make my own little study guide since I can’t afford all those Oceanography books I want to get.

Today the spotlight goes to the Silver Lookdown.

The photo does not do the fish justice as it’s much cooler in real life.  However, this photo is a little bit better:  This is my good side.
