Saving Every Penny I Can
Now that I see one of my goals in site, perhaps within a year, I’m starting to horde any cash I do make so I can watch my bank account grow faster. The faster it grows, the closer I am to that goal and it’s a very good goal....hard earned, long waited for and much needed. So, if I can save money, I’m going to save money.
Sometimes I think that people misunderstand or do not realize the potential in savings behind coupons. Sure, maybe that coupon is only for 11 cents off that can of beans but every bit adds up and before you know it, you’ve saved hundreds just by practicing coupon cutting. Most of the time when people think of coupons they think of the grocery store and while that is a good place to save, (and really, in a lot of things, just get the store brand. It’s typically the same and is way cheaper saving you more money than if you used a coupon with a well known brand), more and more people are shopping online and buying things besides food.
Gogoshopper.com has Zazzle coupons that allow you to save money all over the place. They have coupons for 1800PetMeds, Target, Wal-Mart, JCPenny, GoDaddy.com, Home Depot, Buy.com, Expedia, Ace Hardware, Toys R Us, T-Mobile....we’re talking a lot of stores, many different genres.
Get thee over there before you start shopping because chances are very good that you’re going to find a promo code or coupon for the store you want to purchase from. It doesn’t take long to get a coupon and it is worth it. Think about it this way: If someone came up to you on the street and said, “If you walk down to the end of the block and back, I’ll give you this 5 dollar bill”, wouldn’t you do it? That’s about how much time it’s going to take you to find your coupon and save yourself some money before you pay full price. Just because the money isn’t staring you right in the face doesn’t mean it isn’t worth the same.
