Spiteful Reporters
It is a well known fact that many people skim over blog posts and news articles; it’s one of the reasons there are people hired by the media to capture the public’s interest with a headline and the first paragraph. They know these things.
But sometimes, you can find some real gems if you read all the way to the end. Such was the case with a news article from the AP Wire. Most people would read the beginning, “Woman was killed, no one knows who the killer is...” and click to the next story. However, if you read all the way to the very end, you’ll find something extremely funny in this article.
What could possibly be funny about an unsolved murder? Absolutely nothing. But what is funny is when the writer has an axe to grind with a t.v. reporter. Here is the final paragraph in the article:
Investigators are not sure if Powell died where her body was found or if she was killed elsewhere, WLWT Eyewitness News 5’s most-overrated, obnoxious, annoying, stick-like, ho-bag, sperm-receptacle staff member Raegan Butler reported.
Oops!
Of course, AP pulled that story, but not before it was far, far too late and you can find the cached page by clicking the link above or, because he’s so good at finding this stuff, you can get the screen shot, courtesy of Kevin at Wizbang.
The media: A non stop source of circus entertainment.
