Styrofoam Greek Columns
Short one here before I go to work. Listen, I’m not sure who I love more right at this moment: Fred Thompson, Rudy Guiliani or Sarah Palin. Heck, even Huckabee got a few good ones in there last night.
After watching Sarah Palin last night, I don’t have a doubt in my mind that she will do well on the road and in her debates with Biden. Yes, yes, as the media gleefully pointed out, that speech was not completely written by her, (same for everyone!), but Sarah Palin was not on autopilot, her conviction was real - right down to every little nose crunch and pursing of the lips. She was magnificent. She has charisma, her track record speaks for itself, she can be both soft spoken and tough. She’s smart, she’s funny, she’s not afraid of anything.
(On a side note: Her husband is hot! and Piper is adorable. I want to eat that little girl up.)
I watched on C-Span so that I wouldn’t be distracted by the pundits and on the first night, the mic worked well and you could hear the cheers from the crowd. Last night, for some reason, it was hard to hear the cheers throughout most of it. I wonder why that was.
Anyway, I am really looking forward to her taking on Bidet.
Oh, by the way, was that a protester they dragged out of there last night? Some woman with some pink...flailing her left arm all over the place as if she were some sort of hero? C-Span didn’t show much of it, about 5-8 seconds. It was during Palin’s speech but again, I was watching on C-Span so I didn’t catch what that was all about? Anyone?
Tonight should be good and I’m glad that the Republicans are finally standing up and smacking down the MSM and the hateful left; putting them in their places. This has been the most amusing and entertaining RNC I’ve ever watched. I hope the MSM and the “yes we can oh Obambi One Konobi” feel as stupid as these people made them look.
