Surprise Them Later

So many Americans are on diets and I admit that I’ve dieted a few times in my life to shed a few extra pounds.  The big thing with sticking to a diet plan was the boredom of the food but mostly it was the embarrassment, for me, to carry that stuff up to the counter and have everyone in the world know what I was doing and then, possibly, looking me over to say, “Yep, she’s gonna need those for sure.” I had always wished I could get the items shipped to my home so that I could keep that part of my life personal and just all of a sudden, months later, be thin.

I could still probably stand to lose maybe 10 to 15 pounds just for my own satisfaction but again, I don’t want to walk in to a center or put these products in my grocery cart to be on display because to me, dieting is a very personal thing.  Now, granted, there are places to go to order from the web but most of those foods are either very expensive or there isn’t enough variety and I will grow bored and quit the diet.

Of course, today I just found Dietdirect.com that can assist me and anybody else who is interested in starting or finishing a diet in the privacy of our own homes.  The site has weight loss starter kits to get you going and motivated.  Just to provide an example of what they offer in these starter kits, you can get a 12 week starter kit for $589.  That comes out to $2.33 a meal if you have three meals a day, 7 days a week for 12 weeks.  They also give you a maintenance guide, shopping list, lesson plans on exercise and activities, behavior modification techniques, and so on in addition to the massive amount of food.  You can even customize it to your tastes if you like.  Also for sale are shakes, bars, main courses, breakfasts, hot drinks for those cold winter months that are coming up, snacks, desserts and you can also purchase patches or pills if you are brave.  They even have food for vegetarians.

I’m pretty impressed with the prices, actually.  For example, a box of Fettucini Alfredo is $9.99 and that is three servings.  That’s only $3 a meal and that is way cheaper than a run through the McDonald’s drive thru even if you do use their dollar menu.  If that doesn’t impress you enough, how about their stew that also only costs $9.99 and you get 7 servings.  Do the math, kids.  Those are some cheap dinners.

Plus, Dietdirect.com answers to the cravings I get when I have dieted in the past.  I always desire noodles and sweets whenever I go on a diet and naturally, every single freaking time I turn on the t.v., what do I see but an ad for an Italian restaurant or some sort of chocolate or other type of dessert.  Or I’ll drive by a Chinese place on the way to somewhere and think I’m going to dehydrate from all the salivating that goes on.

The site also offers assistance for those with various health issues such as diabetes, low or high blood pressure, allergies, digestion issues, etc.  That way you can form your diet around any problems you may be currently facing and not cause any detriment to your health because of dieting.

Unless you have a specific health issue that is not covered with any of their products or plans, (and you should always consult a doctor before you begin any diet and exercise routine), there really is no more excuse not to be successful this time.  The prices are low, you have a wide variety of foods to choose from so you won’t get bored, (big problem when dieting), the items are shipped to your home so you don’t have to be embarrassed about purchasing them, only the mailman is going to know and you get motivation, tips, tricks and advice.

If you want to lose some weight before the holidays, now is the time to start.  Give them all a surprise at the Christmas party.  Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a menu to compose and purchase.  And I’ll see you on the smokin’ hot, thin side.
