I really wanted to go a bit to the north this Thanksgiving but my brother insisted I spend it with him and his friends. To be honest, I wasn’t really looking forward to it but damn was I impressed with dinner this afternoon. I also thought it was just going to be two of his friends, (seeing as how he didn’t bother to give me any details), and was pleasantly surprised to see it was actually a lot of his friends that I have met before and a few I hadn’t. The two who made the dinner completely outdid themselves and even printed up the menu. I am going to share it with you because yes, it was that good.

UNbelievable! Absolutely amazing, the most amazing Thanksgiving dinner I have ever had in my entire life.
Of course, the red and white wine was flowing all night long, (I drank water), and then we retired to the living room where we played a very stressful and high intensity game of Pictionary. Hilarious.
I needed that. I really did. Although I’m sad I didn’t get to take up my friends on their invitation up in Dallas, the alternative was outstanding. I think I gained about 20 pounds tonight and frankly, I’m exhausted and need to sleep this off. Tomorrow and the next day, I get to enjoy some of the leftovers.
Hope everyone had a good day whether you celebrate or not.
