Tax Day Tea Party

Just got back from a tea party here in Miami.  Took many photos, spoke to a few people, saw more people than I expected but less than I hoped for.  Will be putting up photos and writing about the event soon.  Now, though, I need to get dinner and get to bed.  Unlike some protesters in this world, we have to work for a living.  (Which is probably why it was held between 6-8pm since we all work hard.)

By the way, I asked people if I could snap their photo and put it on my site and they all said yes.  I figured if I was going to put their image on the internets, I better ask instead of just doing it.  Some people don’t want to be on the webs.  There was only one time I asked a subject not be in the photo and that’s because she was a little girl with her mother.  I, personally, do not feel right putting a child’s photo on a blog site like this, especially if that child is not mine.  Other people have no problems with this and that’s fine, I just don’t feel right doing it.

Some of the people I took photos of asked for the web address so, if you are one of those people and you do come visit here to see the photos, welcome and please note:  Before you read any further, past posts and archives, I cuss a LOT.  If you do not like that sort of language, you may not wish to read other posts I have made.  Nonetheless, feel free to come back to see the Tea Party entry and the photos.

Lastly, there apparently is another rally on Sunday at the court house so since I’m off that day, I may just head on down there.
