The Idiocy-Do. Not. Want!
So. All day today and yesterday I have waited for Dish Network to show up to fix a problem with the satellite for my t.v. I’ve had this account for almost 2 years and when they first came out to install, I had to re-schedule three times because they were too incompetent to find the damn place. When I moved back here, they found it on the first try to install my satellite again. Since that time, there have been no issues with Dish Network.
Until about three weeks ago when I started losing channels. At first it didn’t affect the channels I watch the most so I didn’t worry too much about it. As time wore on, the situation got worse. I called them on Friday and they were going to send a tech out yesterday. At 4 in the afternoon, the tech calls because he is lost. Of course. I tell him exactly how to get here even though he is a good half an hour away. About a half an hour later, the office called to tell me that the tech isn’t coming out because their home base is in Florida City and I’m too far.
WHAT?
They said they had to send a sub contractor out. Whatevs! Just get out here and do this. We went over the address AGAIN, (this is at least 10 times I’ve gone over this with these people), and someone, somewhere, had changed the zip code. I get bills from them. They have my address. So how, suddenly, does the zip code change in their records? I’d LOVE to know that one considering I had to VERIFY the fucking thing when I called, initially, in to tech support.
They told me that they could get someone out here between 8am and noon today. I told them that because of this ridiculous issue with the address, this ONGOING issue that has already been done gone over eleventy thousand fucking times and because I have already waited 5 hours, (in addition to the other waiting times for them to come out in the first place to install), that I was not interested in sitting around another half day waiting for someone. The lady told me that these people would be here at 8am.
Fine. I’m NOT a morning person by any stretch of the imagination and I’m not real thrilled about getting up early on my day off but just get the damn person out here and be done with this.
They did not show. ASSHOLES! I swear that the people in this city are the most incompetent pieces of shit ever to accumulate in one area. I guess it’s not that difficult to be a tech person for Dish Network if you can’t even read a fucking map. Maybe I should get a job with them, if the pay is good. I don’t have to know anything, apparently.
So now I have to fucking REschedule AGAIN and my anger meter is breaking. It is totally unacceptable. And I don’t care who likes what I have to say next but you know what? You need to fucking hire some people who SPEAK FUCKING ENGLISH! Then maybe the driver wouldn’t have such problems finding the damn place.
Now, then. Would you like further evidence of just how STUPID people are? Tough. I’m sharing it with you anyway. I’m at the end of my patience with people. Not some, 99.99999999% of people are too fucking stupid to function and Darwin really needs to start stepping in. Think I’m kidding? Watch:
