Too Much Sun?
Maybe it has baked their brains, I don’t know but what the hell, people? I live in Florida and I don’t understand why there are so many stupid assholes in this state. First they couldn’t figure out how to vote, now we have two simpletons who are abusing the 911 service over a fast food order.
The first one I heard about some time last week about some douche bag who went to Burger King, got all pissy because his burger took longer to make than he thought it should and because they ran out of lemonade. For Christ’s sake people! Seriously! I just went to a fast food joint not too long ago and ordered an apple juice with my happy meal only to find out, when I pulled up to the window that they didn’t have any apple juice left. What should I do!? WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!?! I know! I’ll call 9fucking11!!!!
ToolShed Doesn’t Understand A DAMN Thing About This Country
The part that you didn’t hear that I did hear on a radio station earlier was the 911 operator telling this twit that you do not call 911 because you are unhappy with your burger.
But the stupidity doesn’t stop there. Now we have another full scale twat calling 911 because McDonald’s doesn’t have the chicken nuggets she requested and won’t give her money back. They insist that she order something else.
Before I link to the 911 calls, I want to say a couple of things:
1) McDonald’s not giving her money back is bullshit. Again, I’ve gone through the drive through enough times and have experienced ordering something only to find out that they don’t have said item when I get to the window. (Do these people even BOTHER to communicate? I’ve worked in fast food before..you COMMUNICATE with each other. If the fucking shake machine is broken, you tell everyone it’s broken so that they don’t continue to sell fucking shakes! DER!) Most of the time it’s been something like a drink or a dessert or something. However, not once have I ever been denied my money back. It is the fault of McDonald’s for taking her order not knowing their own inventory. SOMEONE in there knew that they were out of chicken nuggets and did not bother to tell everyone else that they were out. It is not the fault of the customer and telling the customer that they have to pick something else is crap. Total fucking garbage. If I order a futon and I get a desk, I’m going to want my money back. Don’t fucking tell me to pick something else. Give me my money back, assholes.
2) I understand that some places when you call the non emergency number, you get directed right to 911. SOME places. And I also understand that sometimes you don’t have the non emergency number. When that is the case, you can call and ASK for the non emergency number so as not to tie up the phone line. Such as, oh, I don’t know, the OPERATOR! So I don’t want to hear anyone talk about how she didn’t have the non emergency number handy. You call up the operator, remember those guys? And you ask for the non emergency line. It’s that simple. If she does this and is still transferred to 911, well, she now has a record that she tried to use the non emergency number and she won’t get charged.
Now, then, here is the chicken nugget seeker, calling 911. Notice that NOWHERE in this conversation does she state that this is NOT an emergency?
Morons Breed In Florida, Beware!
The first guy is just a whiny bitch. Boo hoo. Burger King doesn’t have anymore lemonade. Ok, did they charge you for it? Did they offer you the money back? Then quit sniveling and stop holding up the line over this issue. All those people in line behind you should not have to suffer because you are mad that they don’t have lemonade. Look, I agree that they should have known that when you ordered. I myself get a little irritated when I order something only to be told 30 seconds later that they don’t have it by someone standing not 10 feet from the person who took my order. I GET that. But stand to the side and talk to the manager about the issue. Discuss with the manager that these people need to work on communication so that when something runs out, everyone is aware. Then get ON with your life!
The second lady: Again, I agree with her up to the 911 call. She ordered something, they didn’t have it and all they wanted to do was keep her money and force her to get something else. They should have offered her money back. If I order something, you don’t have it, I ask for my money back, you should give it back. There should be no conflict here. It could have been that easy. Now, these calls make these people look like idiots, (and the state of Florida), but they also reveal something wrong in the fast food industry. It’s called, “not caring”.
You run any restaurant, you need to know if you run out of something. That’s a basic to running a restaurant. It doesn’t matter if it’s fast food or 5 star. And you do not keep the customer’s money demanding that they find something else to eat. That’s bullshit. They knew that she probably would run to the other fast food joint across the street and get her chicken nuggets there and that is HER right. It’s HER money and HER right to do that if you cannot provide what the customer wants. To treat these customers in this fashion is unacceptable and I certainly hope that both McDonalds and Burger King corporate are paying attention to these calls and find a solution to the problems that were identical.
In the meantime, kids, let me remind you that a house fire is an emergency. Being involved in a traffic accident is an emergency. Heart attacks are an emergency. An intruder in your home is an emergency.
Not getting it your way at the fast food joint is NOT an emergency. Sure, call the police in the second situation but NOT 911 because it is NOT an emergency.
How stupid is this country getting?
