At Long Last
Finally I got my laptop with new keyboard back today. (Told you it wouldn’t get done on Monday.) One would never know that anything happened. Except that I’m out about $200, price of the keyboard and labor.
I’ve decided that the cat needs to work this off. Perhaps she can work for the Dairy Council since she likes milk so damn much. Maybe she can answer the phones all day long. She doesn’t need thumbs, just put a headset on her. Or maybe she’d like to clean out the cows’ pens. Yes, maybe some back breaking labor will teach her a lesson. I think I’ll call them tomorrow and see if they need her services.
On a bright note, the tech guy did tell me today that all I had to do to get all the information off my old computer was to go and get a USB hard drive uh....hang on, it’s written down....USB hard drive encasement. Told me how to figure out which type I needed and how to do it all and also revealed that I can use that as a backup for this computer. All for about $20. Neat!
And don’t even bother saying, “I could have told you that” because none of you did. Ok? Little late now.
Anyway, I was thrilled to learn that I would be able to get all my information from my old hard drive at such a low price and without all the hassle I thought I was going to have to go through. And when that is done, I can throw that damn tower away!
So, in the end, it all worked out. But the cat still needs to pay for this.
