Disgust Is An Understatement
You know, I was trying to steer away from talking much about politics on this blog anymore but I’m so furious about what happened last night, (see below entry), that I may be talking about this for some time.
How in the HELL can something so unconstitutional pass?!! How can illegal bribes go unpunished? I mean, did you see that evil gleem in Bitch Pelosi’s eyes last night? They were glittering with it.
I cannot believe the people in this country are such worthless piles when it comes to our government. Many people fought and DIED to give us our freedoms and in one year, Big, FAT ASS government has stepped in and pretty much destroyed that concept. Government taking over the auto industry? Government taking over the student loan industry? Government taking over the health care industry?
What the hell is going on?! How on earth can people in this country be so blind or passive to what is happening? How can they NOT care? I simply do not understand this. I just do not get it. Yes, I know, people are stupid. I think we all are in agreement on this but seriously, how can people not take the time to research what their reps are doing and how they are voting?
How can we let one party be in control of the House, the Senate AND the presidency?! Are you people insane?!
Listen, I have a co-worker from Germany. It’s damn near pointless to talk about politics around her. I don’t start these conversations, usually they are started by another co-worker and she’ll jump in and ask why we have a problem with it. See, in Germany, it’s so great that they have this, do that and operate in such a manner. It’s great, she says.
Every time she opens her pie hole and says these things I want to scream two questions at her:
1) If it’s so fucking great in Germany, (EAST Germany is where she came from!), then why the fuck did you move to America?
2) If it’s so fucking great in Germany, why in the fuck don’t you go back!?
I lived in Germany. I was there for three years. I do not believe it’s that great. If you want socialism, it’s great. If you want freedom, liberty, NO taxation without representation, etc. etc. it is NOT great. Would you like to be taxed on the very fact that you HAVE a television? Would you like to be taxed so much that it’s cheaper for you to THROW AWAY your furniture at the end of the month and get new furniture rather than be taxed on what you already fucking bought and paid taxes on? Would you like to be taxed on your dog?! These are not one time taxes. These are repeat taxes. You own something, you get taxed on it again and again and again.
At work we get a lot of Europeans and they sure do like to bitch, piss and moan when they bring an item to the counter of the store that was marked $1.99, for example. They pull out two dollars and expect to get a penny back. They are told it’s actually $2.14 as it is $1.99 plus tax. Jeezus the shit fit they throw. “Tax!?” Like they’ve never heard of such a thing. They get upset and make snide comments about our taxes and how in their country they don’t have this tax on their items. What the price says it what the price is.
I want to scream at them every time. “You fucking lying sacks of shit! I’ve lived in Europe. Your taxes are included in the price but you have no way of knowing exactly how much tax you’re actually paying. You could be purchasing an item for $25 and half of that is in taxes. And once you own it, HERE, you’re done. You’ve paid your tax, you’re done. Where you live, you KEEP GETTING TAXED. So don’t EVEN come over here and look down that snotty European nose at us because we say, ‘The price is this and when you come to the register to purchase, you have a 7 percent tax tacked on.’ You pansy bitches wouldn’t know what to do with yourselves if you only had to pay 7 percent tax.”
But of course, I cannot. And thankfully I do not have to work on the counter at the store or I would have already gone ballistic and be unemployed right now.
But, that is what this country is heading for. We are getting taxes upon new taxes upon new taxes upon new taxes thrown at us, left, right and center so that we can PAY for all of those out there who refuse to accept personal responsibility or DO for themselves.
I’ve worked my ass off my entire adult life and I am NOT in the mood to pay for some lazy ass, whiny prick who doesn’t want to work. I do not wish to pay for someone to go out and buy big screen televisions, gaming systems, computers, iPhones and their monthly cell phone, internet and cable bill. These people state that they cannot afford health insurance but they sure as hell seem to have money to buy all of that other stuff. Their priorities are out of whack and you and I get to pay for that! I do not wish to pay for every slut out there who gets knocked up and has an abortion because they can’t be a responsible adult and use their BRAINS instead of their desires to think. And for some of you, I most certainly did a post on this some time back and it was discovered that the large majority of those abortions are coming from middle aged white women who basically go out, get drunk and get knocked up. The majority is NOT inner city teens. The majority is NOT rape or incest victims. The majority are people who should know better. But you and I get to pay for their one night stands and child murders. Fanfuckingtastic.
Last night I was sitting there watching this all unfold on C-Span. I listened to most of the debates until I couldn’t stand it anymore. I heard countless Dems come up and say that they were annoyed by the “rhetoric, scare tactics” and basic “lies” coming out of the right. No, Dems, they aren’t lying. They kept stating that the Republicans did not want health care reform. Total fucking lie. They do want health care reform. They just don’t want THIS health care reform.
What they want is competition. What they want is to give the people the choice to purchase insurance across state lines. They want to give people more affordable health care insurance. They want to let capitalism work. They want to go after those who are allowing out of control spending to happen. They want to go after those insurance companies who are operating in unethical, immoral and illegal ways. They don’t want to punish the people. They are listening to the people and what over half of the people want and have been trying to tell them.
Thirty four Democrats apparently are listening as well as the Republicans.
But 219 Democrats don’t give two shits about the people of this country. They have forgotten that WE do not work for them, THEY work for US. They seem to think that they know better how to run our lives. They seem to think that we are all too incapable and stupid to do for ourselves. So they will come in, ‘save us’ from ourselves, give us hand outs and turn us in to mindless drones who don’t have to do shit and continually vote them back in to office. And hey, while we’re at it, let’s cut a deal and I’ll give you my vote.
People can’t seem to see beyond the one or two issues they feel strongly about. “I’m pro choice and therefore I will never vote for someone who isn’t.” Nevermind that everything else the person stands for is something you disagree with as long as they are pro choice, they get your vote. Or, “I don’t like guns. I’m not going to vote for someone who thinks people should have the right to own a gun.” Nevermind that everything else that person stands for is harmful to you, your family, your friends and everyone else in this country. As long as they don’t like guns either, they get your vote.
NOT ONCE has any candidate EVER stood for everything I agree with. But you have to go for the one who is going to do right for this country and right for the people and our freedoms MORE SO than the other.
Oh and let’s not forget this one: “I won’t vote for him because he’s too old.” Lord have MERCY, I cannot take it. So, all of you who voted for the “seems like a nice guy”, and for those of you who voted for all of the Dems in the House and Senate because they were pro life and anti gun, thanks for fucking nothing. Did you even bother to see what else those assholes believed in or how they voted?
I hope that you have all enjoyed the liberties you’ve had from the time you were born until now. I hope you all reallllllly enjoyed that. Because it’s pretty much leaving the station. You took it for granted, you listened to the snotty ass Europeans who think they are better than us, you apologized to them for being who you are, (you types make me sick to my stomach), and you have basically been sitting in la la land thinking the world is covered with rainbow Skittles shat out by dancing unicorns. You took that Coke commercial where everyone is holding hands, smiling and frolicking in a field of daisies as reality. You have jammed your heads so far up your asses I’m amazed you can even breathe. You have not grown up and experienced real life. You think you are entitled to everything. You think it is OWED to you. You think everyone else should just give it to you because WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!H!H!H!H! life isn’t fair.
No, fuckers. Life is not fair. I’ve said it many times on this fucking blog that life is not fair. In fact, there are times when life downright fucking sucks and is so grossly unfair that you can’t make sense of it. And you may have your moments where you’re pissed or just don’t even know what to do next and that’s fine. But you don’t sit down, plant your thumb in to your mouth and cry about it for the rest of your lives.
You can pout and be pissy and throw a tantrum as long as you eventually get your ass up and try to do something with yourselves. Asking for help is fine. DEMANDING it, ORDERING it is entirely different.
Think about that the next time you all go to the polls, if you even have the damn wherewithal to go to the polls. Some of you are so clueless and “I don’t care about politics” (GAH!!!!) that is truly sickens me. How can you not care about what other people want to do to you and your future?!
In the meantime, congratulations. You just helped turn this country from what was once something decent and good and strong in to a big pile of vulnerability and BROKE, (as Mat said in the post below), so that any old country can now come in and take over. You just spit on all of those who gave so much, suffered so much, worked so hard to give you the freedoms and liberties you once had.
Next time, get over your hatred of Bush and fucking deal with reality.
