It's Starting
So I missed my drive day last Thursday due to reasons I already explained so the boss asked me if I wanted to fill in for a co-worker on his drive day while he is on vacation. Naturally I grabbed that opportunity right away. I only got one day off this week and it will be a long one by the time Sunday rolls around but it was worth it.
I mentioned that September is a slow month for us and man was it rough making money. I did ok but there was definitely a drop in the tips. However, October is now on us and I’ve been doing rather well. In the past two drive days I’ve had, I’ve made more in those two days than I did in a week during the month of August. I cannot believe the amount these people are tipping. I’ve been told that it’s about to get a whole heck of a lot better real soon.
If these past two drive days are any indication of what I’m about to experience, I can’t wait. I may just get to that goal of mine faster than I imagined.
And that would be a very, very good thing.
