What the hell is left?
All the other candidates are either Liberals disguised as Republicans or they are bat shit crazy intent on getting us all killed with their foreign policies.
A long, long time ago there was a discussion in a chat room about voting for the lesser evil or not voting at all. I always thought it was wrong not to vote. At least vote against the worst one, I thought.
This go round? I will vote if Hitlery gets the nomination..meaning, I will vote against her regardless who it is running. I don’t like that, it doesn’t sit well with me because, as stated, the ones who may very well get the Republican nomination aren’t much better than her but I cannot sit back and watch her win.
If she doesn’t get the nomination....if it’s Obama....I don’t want him to win either but some of the candidates on the Right side aren’t a sight better than he is.
Damn it, Fred. DAMN IT! Why couldn’t you have come in earlier, guns ablazing? The media didn’t give you a hell of a lot of coverage, biased assholes that they are, but there are other ways to get that message out there. You had a lot more supporters than I think you knew. You were the right one...and I’m so pissed that the sheeple, including the mainstream joke we call the media who can’t possibly just report the fucking news without throwing in their opinions, their “I think"s and “I believe"s and “I feel"s and one sidedness, didn’t know more about you. Unfortunately, people are lazy. They use the word, “busy” but that’s like saying, “We harvest grizzly bears each year” when it really means, “We kill grizzly bears every year.” People need the information to land in their laps. They need to be smacked upside the head with it. Maybe you had too much faith in the general population that they would actually research and fact check on something so important but they don’t, Fred, they don’t. You were the one....they just needed to know you. All they see now is that you came in late, you didn’t run here, you didn’t run there; they don’t understand why because they don’t bother to find out why, they just go by what they see and assume....they didn’t get to see what you thought, where you stood, (again, fuck you CNN and Fox News and all you other carpet baggers out there who have the audacity to call yourselves professional reporters and journalists--and no, I’m not biased because you left out Fred Thompson more often than not, you fucksticks did it to a number of candidates while you ran around busily grooming the pieces of shit YOU like), what you could have done for this country. And now? They see that you dropped out. It makes it look like you didn’t take it seriously. I’m sure you did...it’s just how it appears and as much as I fight this tooth and nail, I am not one to advocate that whole perception bullshit but far too many others, DO. Please be someone’s VP, at least!
On election night, my plans are:
a) vote against the Beast, pray hard and get drunk and hope we still have a country the next day
b) sit home, pray hard, get drunk and hope we still have a country the next day.
There are several....ok, that’s a lie, hundreds of reasons I do not want her winning. I’ll give you two:
National Health Care
“We will take from you to give to others for the common good.”
I do not want to live in a Communist or Socialist country. I want to live in the United States of America, land of the free, the one with a Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence.
Anyone who thinks a National Health Care system is free is an idiot. You will pay. You will pay monetarily and you may very well pay with your life. THINK, people. For the love of GOD, THINK! Take OFF the rose colored glasses and THINK ahead, think logically, think of all scenarios. Use that brain that was placed in to your skull, for Pete’s sake.
As for the statement she made, I will tell this story again. It is an analogy that I believe the late Rob of GutRumbles came up with and it’s perfectly brilliant in its simplicity in explaining it:
You and a friend with equal abilities, equal intelligence and equal time decide to go to college. You take the exact same classes. You work your ass off. You want to get good grades and make something of yourself. You study every night, you do all of your homework, you show up to class every day, pay attention, take good notes and you pass with a 4.0 grade. You deserved it. You earned it. You worked for that.
Your friend slacks off, doesn’t study, doesn’t hand in the homework, skips classes, doesn’t take notes, barely skims by on the tests and gets a 1.0 grade.
“For the common good”, we will take from you and give to your friend so that you now both have a 2.5 grade. Your friend benefits from your hard work and your hard work was taken from you.
But hey, it’s for the common good, kids. Right?!?! Yah, that’s fair. That is not what this country is about. This country is about you taking personal responsibility for yourself and your actions. You want to succeed? You work for that and you will. This is the land of opportunity, every one gets a go. This is not the land of hand outs for those who want a free ride. For some it may be harder than others but we all have the opportunity to make it work. You want something? Get up OFF your ass and earn it! I do not want to pay for the shit that you want because you can’t be bothered to work as hard as I have. I’ve mentioned several times before on this blog how it infuriates me when someone says to me how jealous they are that I go to do this or I have that or I went there. I fucking earned every damn last thing I have ever done or received. I worked hard for it. I’ve worked way fucking harder than a lot of people and I’ve had it a little easier than others but I have WORKED for all of it.
This country will help those who need help, those who are less fortunate, there are organizations out the fricken yin yang that will help those in need. Plenty of people contribute or donate money and/or time to help those out who need it. But we do not OWE it to anyone. We should not be FORCED to do it. That is not what this country is about. You want to help out the needy? Then you get up off your ass and you help them. Whining about how the rich should do it all is not helping anyone. Sacrifice some of your own resources instead of preaching on your pedestal but doing nothing. Sanctimonious shit bags. This is why I hate liberalism so much. They want to spout off about who should be doing what but they are so unwilling to do so themselves or even take the time to realize that many, many people, rich and poor, are giving to those who need.
Fuck I hate politics anymore. I can’t believe I was so immersed in this shit for 4 years. What the hell was wrong with me?
